Queensland State Education 2010 identifies inclusive education as an important framework to support the best possible outcomes for all students. A Staff College, Inclusive Education was established to identify and coordinate the delivery of learning and development opportunities to enhance the capacity of school personnel to support students with diverse learning needs.

The Principal, Staff College, Inclusive Education will develop and promote virtual and facilitated learning and development services with an emphasis on creative and innovative solutions. The Principal works collaboratively with personnel in the Inclusive Education Branch, and the Learning and
Development Foundation of Education Queensland to provide strategic direction and learning and development opportunities to meet the needs of staff working with students with diverse learning needs.

Current activities of the Staff College, Inclusive Education includes the development of an Inclusive Education Community on The Learning Place
