SPEVI 2003 - South Pacific Educators in Vision Impairment - Biennial Conference

Thank you to everyone who attended the SPEVI 2003 Conference and made it such a successful event. The next Conference will be held in Melbourne from 9-14 January 2005. Check out our upcoming events page in the near future for further information regarding the next conference.

THEME
The conference theme "An eye to the future" has been chosen to promote an exchange of ideas related to the future of education of individuals with vision impairment. Education now must be directed to the future. The aims include the provision of a forum on current and future issues, an avenue for the exchange of ideas, views, practices, research and development. The majority of us have little opportunity to experience these in our day to day work. There will be three distinct strands throughout the conference. These are Low Vision, Braille and Multiple Impairment. It is hoped there will be something for everyone. Please join us and offer your ideas in the form of a presentation.
