Invitation from the President

The 17^th Convocation of the College, to be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Darwin in October 2004, is the first to be held in Northern Australia, and an opportunity to give the college a profile in Australia's most Asia - proximate city.

For Fellows it is their chance to visit the booming Northern Territory capital and tourist attractions that abound, in addition to the usual valuable Convocation scientific programme, with some emphasis on remote and rural dentistry.

For industry members and other potential sponsors it is an opportunity to network with one of the leadership groups of the Dental Profession as well as two peak specialist groups and the Northern Territory and ADF dentists.

The 17^th Convocation of RACDS will be a once in a lifetime experience for participants and I urge you to start your plans to participate in and enjoy the College's premier meeting in 2004.
