Crowne Plaza Hotel, Darwin

The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Darwin is the city's premier hotel set in the centre of the Darwin CBD only 20 minutes from the international airport. The hotel reflects the relaxed tropical feel of the Northern Territory Capital and is the gateway to the true Australian Outback.

Address:
32 Mitchell Street,
Darwin NT

Darwin

A modern tropical capital set on a harbour twice the size of Sydney's, Darwin is Australia's most successful multicultural city. More than 50 nationalities are among the Darwin region's population of around 105,000, including the Larrakia Aboriginal people. The city is closer to Jakarta than it is to Canberra - no wonder it is referred to as the Gateway to Asia.

From the easy-going city of Darwin to some of the timeless landscapes of the Northern Territory, a journey to the unique 'top end" is an experience unlike any other destination. You will have the opportunity to experience Aboriginal culture in this spiritual heartland. A tour to Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks is highly recommended.

Travel Information

Darwin International Airport is 12.5 kilometres from the town centre. Taxis are readily available and a journey into town will cost approximately $15.00. Darwin Airport shuttle service can drop you at any hotel in Darwin and will cost approximately $7.00.
