Convenor's Message

The Middle Years of Schooling Association (MYSA) invites all those committed to the education, growth and development of young adolescents to their Fourth International Conference, 26-28 May 2005.

As the venue is Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast, we invite you to "Ride the Wave of Success in the Middle Years". To acknowledge the varying degrees of implementation of middle schooling practices, some sessions will offer alternative strands. Whether you are on the beach wondering how to catch a wave, "out the back" deciding which wave to ride, or already on a wave and manoeuvring to make the most of the challenges it throws your way, there will be something for you.

The program features international and national keynote speakers, theme papers, presentations highlighting successful practices, school site visits, pre-conference workshops and student participation. We aim to highlight the successes of those who are truly engaging young adolescents in learning that enables them to achieve their best outcomes.

For all previous MYSA international conferences, registrations have reached the maximum number prior to the closing date. You are urged to register early to avoid disappointment.
