Continue past sleepy coastal towns, spectacular cliff side views along the forever-winding road to Apollo Bay where we walk along the beach. The Otway National Park unfolds ahead revealing a wealth of greenery; ferns and mosses nestle in secluded damp gullies dwarfed by giant families of Blue Gum and Mountain Ash trees. We join the shipwreck cost where many ships were lost in savage storms. This stretch of the coast is wild and woolly, dramatic and awesome. See the 12 Apostles - huge stone monoliths that rise out of the seas, each eroded by pounding waves, onshore winds and the passage of time.
