Deposit
A deposit equivalent to one night's room tariff as indicated on the accommodation booking form is required to secure your reservation. Requests will not be actioned unless a deposit is received. The accommodation deposit is payable to ICMS Travel Trust, and should be made separately to the registration fee payment. The deposit will be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the advised arrival date.

BEAUTIFUL BLUE DANDENONGS

We venture into Melbourne's 'Jewel' - the picturesque Dandenong Ranges. Visit the Museum of Modern Art at Heide, considered to be the home of Australian Modernism. Wind our way into the Dandenongs to take a stroll through Sherbrooke Forest to view ancient fern gullies and giant mountain ash trees. Hand feed some of Australia's colourful birds, the Rosella's and Lorikeet's that abound in this tranquil environment. Lunch at a village restaurant in Olinda, then walk it off at Williams Ricketts Sanctuary. Includes : Transport, tour guide, 2-course lunch and admission fee.

Day 1 and we are flying down The Great Ocean Road, over miles of pristine white beaches to The Twelve Apostles. See the razorback, Island Arch and the other twisted stacks that make up the Twelve Apostles. Then it's on to Australia's island state - Tasmania to spend the night at the wilderness retreat - Cradle Mount Lodge on the edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. The awesome beauty of this region is truly inspiring. Day 2 Explore this stunning area - take an optional guided walking tour, canoe on Dove Lake, do a spot of fly fishing, take a Four wheel drive tour or go horse riding. Perhaps you'd just like to relax in the sauna and enjoy the native animals that regularly visit. Day 3 Cruise the beautiful Gordon River engulfed by ancient Huon pine trees past the convict penitentiary at Sarah Island. Flying back to Melbourne we stop for lunch at King Island in Bass Straight renowned for its prize agriculture and seafood delicacies. Day 1 and commence the tour of Australia's largest city, Sydney. Undertake a luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour, then discover this vibrant city and its wonderful beaches this afternoon. Day 2 and you escape to the secluded wilderness and unsurpassed beauty of the blue Mountains by 4WD vehicle. Enjoy captivating views of rugged cliffs separated by deep valleys covered by eucalyptus trees. Hear the calls of native birds and look out for other wildlife. Lunch is included at an Australian mountain pub (hotel). Day 3 You begin today driving past captivating coastal scenery, past beaches and seaside villages. Cruise the calm pristine waters of Jervis Bay as we search for families of dolphins - it's fabulous to see them swimming in the bow wave. Travel through Kangaroo Valley to view the spectacular cascading Fitzroy Waterfalls. Day 4 Tour terminates this morning. Day 1 Your first day after arriving in Port Douglas is for you to relax by the pool or go exploring the quaint city of Port Douglas. Day 2 and the action really begins as you are off to explore the Great Barrier Reef. Go snorkelling in the crystal clear waters, view the brilliantly coloured coral and fish from a glass bottom boat. Smorgasbord lunch is included. Day 3 Today you see the oldest rainforest on earth, as we explore the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Journey along the "Bloomfield Track" to see virgin forests, stroll along the beach, where rainforest meets reef and walk into the upper levels of the rainforest. Tropical BBQ lunch included today. Day 4 the tour terminates this morning. You may wish to extend your stay, just complete the Tour Booking Form. Name Badges
Name Badges will be given to all delegates on registration. It is required that you wear your badge at all times including social functions. Entry tickets will be provided for all social and optional events.

Attendance Verification
Certificates of attendance at the Congress will be available on request.

Communication Equipment
Before you arrive in Australia, you are advised to check if your communications equipment (for example, mobile phone or laptop computer) is safe to operate in Australia.

Currency
Australian currency is decimal.
Notes are $100, $50, $20, $10 and $5 denominations.
Coins are $2, $1, 50c, 20c, 10c and 5c denominations.


Travel Information

Passport and Visa

All visitors need a valid passport and visa for entry into Australia. In many countries you can obtain your Business (Short Stay) visa at the same time you purchase your airline ticket. Ask for a Business Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) for Australia. Visas are also issued at Australian Embassies and Consulates around the world. Your airline or travel agent can advise you regarding the procedures for lodgement of visa applications.

Time Difference
For international passengers, we suggest that you allow at least a day in which to adjust to the time difference. Travellers crossing the Pacific will lose a day by crossing the International Date Line. At the time of the Conference, Melbourne time is Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)+10 hours.

Please note from Sunday 28 October (the day after the Congress concludes), Daylight Saving Time commences - Melbourne time is GMT +11 hours.

Airport
Melbourne International Airport is approximately a 30-minute drive via Citylink. Both direct international and domestic flights arrive at and depart from this airport using a single terminal complex.

Airport Transfers
Transfers to the city from the airport are easily accessed. Taxis are available outside the terminal at ground floor level at a cost of approximately AUD30.00. Alternatively, Skybus operates an airport to city and return shuttle bus service. A one-way fare is (at the time of printing) AUD12.00 per person. Buses depart at regular intervals and drop-off at various points in the city.

Foreign Exchange
Facilities are available at the international terminal and throughout the city to exchange foreign currency.

Taxation
A 10% tax on the purchase of goods and services (GST) applies by Australian law.

Vaccinations
A current valid international certificate of inoculation against cholera and yellow fever is required if passengers come from or travel through infected areas. Consult your airline in this regard.
