The Psychology of Jordanian Working Women
According to the 'Ereck Forme' theory, the socio-psychology analysis on accurate specialisation of work or the process of production leads to making laborer feel as a stranger, ie isolating from what he does produce. In return, this influences the psychology and sensation of the laborer in respect of achieving his self through work. Also, these influences on his sensation belong to work or the items he does product.
The global factories' manpower in Jordan depend on women, and the activities rest on specialised work to a degree that female laborer is responsible only for a minor part of production, as takes place in the ready-made garments wherein female labourer is responsible only for the sewing of button. A number of women were appointed, although no change happened on the culture or family or the Jordanian society.
This requires that phenomena be studied, to know the influence of work in the global factories on the psychology of the working women in the global factories was conducted on the comparative basis between the self-concept to the Jordanian working women int he global factories, and those women having her special projects. Besides that a comparative study on problems facing the Jordanian working women was conducted in both sectors. With the framework of the study, the used scientific terminologies were defined.
In summary, there is a difference between the self-concept to the Jordanian working women in both sectors on the basis of the work. A woman in the private projects rejoices a self-concept with a high degree subsequently with a healthy psychology more than woman working in the global factories.
The study has shown the role and significance of the psychology and social worker for the women working in the global factories.
