HISTORY - CURRENT EVENTS PRESERVED FOR TOMORROW

The CPA/PAC Conference will be a momentous occasion in the current life of our profession, however, tomorrow it too will be part of pharmacy history.

During the Conference, the Australian Academy of the History of Pharmacy will be conducting its own "mini congress" with a number of distinguished Pharmacy Historians presenting papers and participating in a plenary session which will be open to all Conference delegates.

The theme for the afternoon of fun and learning will be "That history is not something that the dead inflict upon us".
In addition, a group visit to a place of historical pharmaceutical interest close to the City will be organised.

Further details of the speakers and the full program will appear in the Conference handbook, but any delegate who may wish to participate actively by sharing some of their own interest in Pharmacy History will be very welcome. Further information can be obtained from the Academy secretary on +61 8 9386 6087 or E-Mail at gcmiller@iinet.net.au.
