Engineering our Future: Are We Up to the Challenge?
Chemeca is the annual Conference hosted by the Institution of Chemical Engineers in Australia (IChemE), Engineers Australia (EA), the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) and the Society of Chemical Engineers New Zealand (SCENZ). These bodies represent over 100,000 engineers and chemists working in the region. The annual Conference provides opportunities for industrialists, researchers and all those associated with or providing a service to the process industries to share ideas, innovations, successes/challenges, build networks and socialise.
Chemeca 2009 took place from 27 to 30 September 2009 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth, Western Australia. The Conference was a resounding success, attracting over 300 delegates from across Australia and around the world and was a wonderful opportunity for industry and academia to meet and discuss important topics.
The Chemeca 2009 Organising Committee would like to thank the plenary and keynote speakers, sponsors and exhibitors for their important contribution to the Conference. Thank you also to the delegates and abstract authors who attended and presented at Chemeca 2009.
Chemeca 2010 will be held at the Hilton Adelaide in South Australia. Several plenary and keynote speakers have been announced and abstract submission is now open. Visit the Chemeca 2010 website for more information.
