 Director, autoPOLISDr. John Wormald is a founding partner of autoPOLIS, a consulting firm which provides strategic analysis and advice to companies in the world automotive industry, including vehicle manufacturers, components suppliers, vehicle and parts distributors, service providers, financial institutions and government agencies. His work ranges from the introduction of fuel-cell-powered vehicles to the aftermarket, in which he has a particular expertise. He is co-author of a major new book on the industry, "Time for a Model Change - Reengineering the global automotive industry" published by Cambridge University Press in September 2004. He regularly chairs and is engaged to be a speaker at international automotive conferences because of his exceptionally broad knowledge and deep understanding of the global automotive industry and its recent development. Dr. Wormald was previously with Booz Allen & Hamilton, Renault and the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a B.A. in chemistry from Oxford, a Ph.D. from Harvard and an MBA from INSEAD.
 Vice President & C.O.O, Toyota Technical Center Asia Pacific AustraliaMax has a double degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He joined Toyota Australia in 1976 as a member of the Engineering Design Division & progressed through various Design Departments including Electrical, Body, Interior & Functional Parts until 1985 when he established the Product Planning Department. In 1988 Max was appointed to be General Manager of Product Planning at Toyota Motor Corporation Australia & also served as an officer of the GM/Toyota joint venture Company (U.AAI) in Australia from 1988 to 1994. In 1995 Max assumed responsibility for all of Toyota’s Product Planning in Australia including imported & export models until 1999 when he was appointed to the position of General Manager – Purchasing. During his time in this role he was also appointed as the local Chief Engineer for Australia Production Models on behalf of Toyota Japan. In 2001 Max returned to Engineering as Divisional General Manager & was appointed to the Board of Directors at Toyota Motor Australia (TMCA) in 2003 as Director of Engineering & Purchasing. In mid 2004, Max left TMCA to take up his current position as Vice President & C.O.O of Toyota Technical Center Asia Pacific Australia where he is responsible for establishing & managing the 3rd Global Technical Centre to be established outside Japan by Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan.
 National Centre for SustainabilityJosh works as a sustainability strategy analyst, researcher and lecturer with the National Centre for Sustainability (NCS) at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. In 2004, he was part of a team at NCS that carried out a study for EPA Victoria into the role of alternative vehicle technologies and fuels in reducing Victoria’s greenhouse gas emissions over the next ten years. Josh teaches subjects including ‘Energy for the Future’ in NCS’s Graduate Certificate in Sustainability. Josh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from Monash University. He worked as an engineer and project manager for ten years in the area of metallurgical plant design and process development before moving into the sustainability field. He is currently studying towards a Master’s Degree in Strategic Foresight at Swinburne University’s Australian Foresight Institute.
 Chief Executive Officer, MiniFAB (Aust) Pty Ltd.Erol has been involved in the commercial and scientific development of microtechnology for more that 15 years. Trained as a physicist, he was the Operations Manager for the SPRITE Ultra-high power Excimer laser at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory before joining Exitech Limited, a spin-out company based in Oxford. He was responsible for the development of laser micromachining systems, and worked closely with clients in Japan, Far East, Europe and the USA to develop novel products and processing techniques. In 1999 Erol returned to Australia to establish the microtechnology group at Swinburne University, where he is now Professor of MicroTechnology. Erol was instrumental in starting the CRC for microTechnology, and has recently partnered to form a spin-out company, MiniFAB (Aust) Pty Ltd.
 Brent is responsible for the implementation of the National strategy for ITS in Australia - e-transport in addition to managing the ITS Australia organisation and setting the strategic direction for the organisation. Brent assists in ITS policy development for State and Federal Governments, and growing awareness of ITS in industry and the community. Brent presents at many national and international congress' and events and hosting trade delegations and industry missions for ITS companies. Brent is a guest lecturer on ITS and presents at numerous conferences domestically and internationally.Brent participates on numerous national transport committees and acts in an advisory capacity to many programs. Brent has previously worked in various technology and executive positions in the fields of telematics, car navigation, mobile commerce, wireless services, location based services, geographic information systems, hydrographic services, transport policy, business development, strategic planning, He has written and presented many papers to national and international audiences and parliamentary committees on these topics. He is a serving member (21 years) of the Royal Australian Naval Reserves, Diving Team 6. He won the 2003 Austroads Achievement Award.  Chief Executive Officer, Intelematics AustraliaAdam Game joined Intelematics Australia Pty Ltd as CEO in February 2000. With more than 15 years experience in multidisciplinary areas including business development in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), new media and motorist information systems, he plays a crucial role as one of the principal architects of the company’s business strategy. Adam’s background has largely focused on technology relating to location and mobility and he is recognised as having played a key role in facilitating the introduction of vehicle navigation to the Australian market. Having graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Town & Regional Planning (Hons), Adam went on to complete a Master of Philosophy in Urban Economics at the University of Cambridge (UK) in 1986. Following this, he worked for five years in with the WSC consultancy, rising to the position of associate. Immediately prior to joining Intelematics, Adam was General Manager of the WhereiS Interactive Business Unit at Pacific Access Pty Ltd. As CEO of Intelematics Australia, Adam Game is uniquely positioned to appreciate the complex technical and commercial issues associated with introduction of new motorist information services.
 Vehicle Line Director, Holden LimitedJon Dennis was appointed Vehicle Line Director in August 2004. In this newly established position for Holden, Jon leads a cross-functional Program Execution Team and is responsible for overall program execution including achievement of quality, timing and financial objectives. Jon began his career with General Motors in 1979, working as a co-operative student at Fisher Body Division in Lansing, Michigan, USA. During his ten years in Manufacturing he held positions in Production Supervision as well as Material Handling and Production Control. In 1989 Jon moved to Oldsmobile Division of GM where he held positions in the Engineering and Product Planning organisation. In 1994 Jon was transferred to GM Europe (Russelsheim, Germany) and appointed Product Line Manager for Commercial and Recreational Vehicles. In 1997 Jon was appointed Vehicle Line Director - Commercial Vans where he co-led a joint development team with Renault that produced a new Medium Duty Van for both partners. This assignment took Jon to Paris, France where the vehicle was developed and then to Luton, England where it was launched for manufacture in 2001. Between late 2001 and his current appointment, Jon was Vehicle Line Director - Commercial Vans and then, Vehicle Line Director - Premium Rear Wheel Drive Cars, both in GM North America (Detroit, Michigan).
 National Marketing Manager, Passenger Vehicles, Ford Motor Company of Australia LimitedKevin joined Ford Motor Company of Australia in 1991 as a Graduate Trainee having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. He completed further study in 2002 graduating with an MBA (Chairman's Award winner) from the Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne. His career with Ford has spanned over 14 years in Marketing, Sales and Service, Business Strategy and Product Planning. Kevin also spent a year working for Ford in international markets in both the US and across Europe. His most recent roles have been as Marketing Plans and Brand Development Manager on Ford Territory (1999 to 2000) followed by Product Planning Manager (2001 to 2002) where he was responsible for Ford' s Product Planning function including the launch of the all new Ford Territory, BA Falcon range, Fiesta and Focus. Kevin's most recent appointment was as National Marketing Manager for Passenger Vehicles in 2003. In this role Kevin and his team are responsible for managing the marketing mix for Ford's passenger vehicle range across Australia.
 Chairman, Lean Enterprise Academy UKProfessor Jones is co-author with James P. Womack of two influential management books, "The Machine that Changed the World" and "Lean Thinking: Banish Waste and Create Wealth in Your Corporation". These books have sold millions of copies in many languages. He is now Chairman of the non-profit Lean Enterprise Academy (part of the Global Lean Network) that he established to help firms make their own lean transformation. He was a member of the UK Government's Rethinking Construction, Manufacturing Futures and Automotive Innovation and Growth Team panels and Part-time Principal of the first company university in the UK at the Unipart Group of Companies.

Corporate Manager, Product Planning Toyota Motor Corporation AustraliaAdrian has a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Honours) from The University of Sydney. He joined Toyota Australia in 1990 as a member of the Product Planning & Engineering Division. In 1992 he moved to Japan for the first of two secondments working in the Oceania Group responsible for the Australia business operation. The second - in 1995 - involved working in the Toyota Technical Centre as the "window" for technical issues regarding the introduction of the 3rd Generation Camry. In 1997, Adrian returned to a Product Planning role before broadening his experience by working in the Sales & Marketing Division responsible for the launch of the current generation Camry. From the beginning of this year Adrian assumed responsibility for all of Toyota's Product Planning in Australia including Lexus & Daihatsu models.
