ASUM - Australasian Society for Ultrasound in MedicineThe Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is a multidisciplinary society whose primary role is to assist in disseminating scientific information, provide education and set standards of practice in this continually developing specialty. Our members include medical specialists in almost all disciplines of medicine, medical doctors, sonographers, scientists, veterinarians and corporate companies. Accommodation Information
A special Conference rate has been secured. Please complete the separate accommodation form and return it prior to Monday 1st July 2002. Any bookings received after this date cannot be guaranteed. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and payment. Early registration is advised. Accommodation rates are room only per night, per room and do not include breakfast unless otherwise indicated. Room ratesinclude GST. A deposit is equivalent to one night's room tariff.As indicated on the accommodation booking form, the deposit is required to secure your reservation. Reservations will not be actioned unless a deposit is received. Room rates are room only per night, per room and do not include breakfast. Room rates are in Australian dollars (A$) and include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). The accommodation deposit is payable to ICMS Travel Trust, and must be separate to the registration fee payment. The deposit will be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the advised arrival date. Please make all cheques/bank drafts payable to: ICMS TRAVEL TRUST Overseas Delegates please note that personal cheques will not be accepted. All payments must be in Australian Dollars only (A$). If you have any difficulty with remittance of payment caused by your country's foreign currency regulations, accommodation deposits can be remitted by telegraphic transfer to the ICMS Travel Trust Account as follows: SWIFT Code: ANZBAU3M It is essential that a copy of the bank stamped transfer details and a copy of the original completed registration form are to be faxed to the Conference Secretariat to assist in identifying your transfer from the bank. All major credit cards are accepted: American Express, Diners, Mastercard, and Visa. 1. All changes must be in writing. 2. Prior to Monday 1st July 2002, all changes should be marked to the attention of the Conference Secretariat C/- ICMS Travel Trust. 3. After Monday 1st July 2002 please send all amendments directly to your hotel. Contact details will be included on your confirmation sheet. Accommodation bookings cancelled within 35 days prior to arrival will forfeit the deposit. Please indicate on your registration form your estimated time of arrival at the hotel. Check in time is 1400. Should you wish to guarantee a room for your arrival prior to that time it is recommend that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival.
