INVITATION TO ATTEND

The Organising Committee of the ASGM invites you to participate in the 2003 Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) to be held at Crown Towers in Melbourne, from June 16-18, 2003.

The 2003 ASM promises to combine an exciting and varied academic program with the many attractions of Melbourne. The Novartis Visiting Professor is Professor Ken Rockwood of Canada, a dynamic and motivational speaker who is extensively published in the fields of frailty, epidemiology, delirium and dementia. The Servier Australasian Lecturer is Ophthalmologist, Professor Paul Mitchell from the Blue Mountains Eye Project who will discuss sensory deprivation in the elderly. In selecting the speakers and topics for this meeting, the organising committee has strived to cover some oft neglected but difficult to manage aspects of Geriatric Medicine, including Parkinson's Disease, Diabetes, the Older Driver and End of Life Decisions. We anticipate that the sessions will be thought provoking and discussion inducing as well as academically enlightening. We hope that you can participate.
