AIRPORT TRANSFERS

PARKING
The Wentworth Hotel has three (3) levels of undercover valet car parking available. Special rates have been negotiated for in-house guests - A$15.00 per car per twenty four (24) hours, or for delegates attending APMC 2000, A$20.00 per car per day.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate travel and health insurance before commencement of travel. Further information can be obtained from your travel agent.

Conference Venue - The Wentworth Hotel

The venue for APMC 2000 is The Wentworth Hotel, Sydney. Conveniently located in the heart of the city centre, The Wentworth Hotel is only minutes away from all the attractions that Sydney is famous for, such as the Opera House, Circular Quay, and also up-market department stores and shopping arcades. The hotel has an overall elegance is renowned as one of Sydney's grand hotels.

The Wentworth Hotel is a 4 ½ star hotel with a dedicated convention area and adjacent exhibition space. The hotel offers 24-hour room service for guests, as well as a variety of restaurants, catering to every budget.

Sydney has excellent transport links into and around the city. Sydney International Airport is located only 20 minutes drive from the city centre. Visitors can reach the Central Business District (CBD) from the airport by taxi, bus or rail. The cost of a taxi fare from the airport to The Wentworth ranges from A$25 - A$30, depending on traffic conditions. Costing only A$7 per person one-way, and A$12 return fare (excluding GST), an 'Airport Express' bus frequently departs from Sydney International and the Domestic Airport as a door-to-door service into the city. This bus is easily recognisable because of its green & gold colouring. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver. The Airport Express operates every day of the year from approximately 5.00am to 11.00pm. The closest railway station to The Wentworth is Wynyard Station. A direct rail service operates from Sydney's International Airport Station to Wynyard Station and costs A$9.40 one way or A$12.80 return.
