INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

1. Preparing Your Paper

Instructions for preparing your paper are given in the downloadable template files available below. Microsoft Word templates for PC (.doc) and for Macintosh (.rtf) are provided to assist you to prepare your paper in a format that will ensure a uniform looking proceedings. You are asked to read the template file carefully and particularly observe the following:

Final papers are to be submitted by the deadline of 1 September 2000.
Submissions are limited to four pages only (except in the case of invited papers, where up to six pages have been allocated).
The page size and margins must not be changed under any circumstances.
You are asked to adhere as closely as possible to the formatting instructions for font sizes, headings, diagrams, graphics, references etc.

NB If your paper has been prepared in latex, hard copy only of your paper is to be submitted (no disk required).

2. Submitting Your Paper

When you have written your paper, please check that:

The file being submitted is the format specified as per the templates (ie style, length of paper etc.) and
English spelling and grammar is correct

ONLY THE FILE FORMATS PRESCRIBED ABOVE ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR SUBMISSION! You should then submit the paper as a hard copy and on disk to the secretariat. Do NOT send the file via email. Please refer to your abstract number in all correspondance, in the file name and on the disk.
