Upon arrival at the Wentworth Hotel, please make your way upto Level 3 to
register and collect your name badge. The registration desk hours are as
follows:

Sunday 3 December 9.00am – 4.00pm
Monday 4 December 8.30am – 4.00pm
Tuesday 5 December 8.00am – 4.00pm
Wednesday 6 December 8.00am – 4.00pm

The 2000 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC 2000) will be held at The Wentworth Hotel, Sydney, Australia, from Sunday to Wednesday, 3 - 6 December. APMC 2000 is organised and sponsored by the IEEE New South Wales and South Australia Sections, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, and CSIRO Telecommunications and Industrial Physics.

The theme of the Conference, Expanding the World of Microwaves Beyond 2000, emphasises the increasing scientific and engineering advances, and also business opportunities, that are likely in the next few years as a result of microwave technology. These advances will have a significant effect on the way we live and work in the decades to come. The Conference will aim to address the following questions. What can we expect in the way of new developments and applications? What advances do we need to make to improve the products and services our industries provide? What is the current state of research in the area, and what do we see as the challenges for the future?

A balanced program is envisaged, with the aim of highlighting microwave research, development and applications across industry, government and university sectors.
