Travel Information

Arriving by Air
The airport is located in Williamtown. A flight from Sydney takes 25 minutes, while flights from Melbourne and Brisbane take just over 1 hour. Newcastle Airport, offers passenger services direct to and from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Tamworth. Car rentals
The region is well serviced by all major car rental companies. Newcastle is an easy two-hour drive from Sydney.

Bus / Coach
Greyhound Pioneer (1800 801 294) and McCafferty's (1800 801 294) operate daily between Sydney and Newcastle. Port Stephens Coaches (02) 4982 2940 provides a daily link between Sydney, Newcastle and Port Stephens.

Rail
Cityrail links Newcastle with Sydney. Countrylink services are available for those travelling from Brisbane. Several services a day stop at Newcastle. City Rail trains from Sydney to Newcastle take approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. The Newcastle train station is a 5-minute walk from Noah's on the Beach. Taxi
Taxis may be pre-booked on (02) 4979 3000 or are available at the airport for transfers to Newcastle CBD. A one-way fare from Newcastle Airport is approximately $50.00 to the CBD and Noah's on the Beach. Cab Charge is accepted.

Bus
There is a regular scheduled coach service from Newcastle (Williamtown) Airport into the Newcastle CBD. Please phone Port Stephens Coaches on +61 2 4981 1207 or 1800 045 949 to obtain a timetable. The coaches operate between 7am-7pm (Mon-Fri) and 9am-4.30pm (Sat & Sun). The fare is approximately $5.00 each way. Fogg's Airport Shuttle (02 4950 0526) also offers a coach service. The fare is approximately $35.00 per person and $45.00 for two people.
